I am so proud of this piece! My work is ever-evolving and I’m thrilled with the sensual, mystical direction it’s going in. If you’ve known me for a while, then you know I had a slight obsession with drawing mushrooms and other psychedelic illustrations back in the day.
 
I recently watched a documentary on Netflix called Fantastic Fungi, which reignited my fascination for incorporating plant medicine into my work. 
 
I wanted this piece to portray a deeply tranquil and spiritual vibe, with the help of gold leaf to symbolize energy waves emanating off of her. As if she’s present in two realities at once, before entering the portal.
